Committed to sustainability and ethical production, Petrucha follows a criteria that makes its cycle as circular as possible, not adhering to collections, seasons or trends. All leathers are naturally treated, only using vegetable dyes whilst designs feature raw-edges and hand-stitched detailing. With a minimal and natural aesthetic, the brand creates transcendental objects which pay incredible attention to detail resulting in handcrafted, high-quality leather shoes that never lose their value.
HOW THEY WORK
Being a small company with large ambitions allows us to be more efficient and to use sustainable materials. We do not generate unnecessary stock.
We carefully choose and take pride in the materials we use. Avoiding the use of chemicals and choosing ethically produced local products.
Our shoes are always locally produced exclusively by our passionate team.
Founders Anaid Cano and Josep Vila started Petrucha in 2014 with the intention of creating a sustainable footwear brand that wasn’t just a label, but a vehicle for change. With a small team, all the work is carried out in Petrucha’s workshop in Alicante, Spain.
